Fleet & equipment

Rigs and equipment matched to the well rather than to whatever is available. Every asset maintained and certified on a documented inspection cycle.

Our approach

The right rig, not the nearest rig

Putting a 2,000 HP pad rig on a shallow vertical well costs you money. Putting an undersized rig on an extended lateral costs you the well. We will tell you which asset the programme actually needs - including when that is a smaller, cheaper one.

Drilling · 1,500 - 2,000 HP

AC electric land rigs

AC variable-frequency-drive rigs with walking substructures, high-torque top drives and pad-optimised layouts for multi-well development.

Hookload capacity750,000 - 1,000,000 lbs
Top drive500 - 750 ton, AC driven
Mud pumps3 x 1,600 HP triplex
SubstructureWalking / skidding, 30 - 35 ft clearance
PowerAC VFD with dual-fuel capability

Drilling · 1,000 - 1,500 HP

Mechanical and SCR rigs

Proven conventional rigs suited to shallower vertical and directional programmes where an AC pad rig is more capability than the well requires.

Hookload capacity500,000 - 750,000 lbs
Top drive350 - 500 ton
Mud pumps2 x 1,300 HP triplex
SubstructureConventional, 22 - 28 ft clearance
Depth ratingTo 15,000 ft

Well servicing · 250 - 600 HP

Workover and well service rigs

Purpose-built mobile service rigs for rod and tubing work, pump changes, fishing and completion operations on producing wells.

Mast rating150,000 - 300,000 lbs
ConfigurationSingle and double, carrier mounted
Working depthTo 14,000 ft

Testing · Three-phase

Well testing packages

Mobile separation and metering packages for flowback, clean-up and extended production testing, with continuous data acquisition.

Pressure control equipment

BOP stacks, accumulators, choke manifolds and wellhead equipment maintained and certified on a documented inspection cycle.

AccumulatorsSized to full stack function requirement

Support · Rig moving

Heavy haul and lifting

Rig-move trucking coordination, cranes, forklifts and rigging inspected and certified for critical-lift work.

Specifications are indicative of fleet classes. Exact rig specifications, current availability and certification status are provided with every quotation.

Maintenance

Equipment maintained to standard, not to budget

Deferred maintenance is the cheapest decision you make this quarter and the most expensive one you make this year.

  • Preventive maintenance on hours, not on failure. Every major component runs to a scheduled interval with a documented history.
  • Pressure control recertified to API 53 intervals, with function and pressure testing to programme requirements on every location.
  • Rigging and lifting gear inspected on a documented cycle - colour-coded, tagged and removed from service on expiry rather than on inspection.
  • Preservation programmes for idle assets, so that stacked equipment returns to work in condition rather than in pieces.

Need a rig for a specific programme?

Send us the depth, trajectory and spud date and we will come back with the right asset class, current availability and a cost.

Let's talk about your next well.

Send us the location, depth and timing and you will get a costed response from someone who has worked the job - not a brochure.
