Our story
Excellence and innovation, redefined
Century Solutions was founded in 2013 to serve independent operators who wanted a drilling contractor that planned the work properly and told them the truth about how it was going.
That is still the business. What has changed is its scope. What began as land drilling now spans nine service lines covering the entire well lifecycle - drilling, completion and workover, well servicing, testing and evaluation, rig moving, cold-stacking, turnaround maintenance, HSE and project management - across the major US onshore basins and into Western Canada.
The growth has been deliberate rather than opportunistic. Each service line was added because clients kept asking us to solve a problem adjacent to work we were already doing well, and because we could staff it with people who had done it before. We have declined more expansion than we have pursued.
We also operate in an industry with a real environmental responsibility, and we do not treat that as a communications exercise. Pad drilling reduces surface disturbance. Modern power packages cut fuel burn and emissions. Disciplined waste and water management keeps material out of the ground it came from. These are engineering decisions with measurable outcomes, and we report them.

The commitments behind every programme
Safety before schedule
Every person on our locations holds stop-work authority, and using it is never held against them. A job delayed is recoverable; a person injured is not.
Say what is true
When a well is behind plan or a cost is running over, you hear it from us early - while there is still something you can do about it - not in the final report.
Engineer it first
Well plans, lift plans and turnaround schedules are engineered before equipment moves. Most field problems are planning problems that arrived late.
Smaller footprint
Pad drilling, modern fuel-efficient power packages and disciplined waste management reduce the surface, emissions and water impact of every well we drill.
Crews that stay
We staff programmes for continuity so that knowledge of your field accumulates on your acreage instead of walking off it every hitch.
Measure everything
Connection times, non-productive time, cost per foot and safety leading indicators are tracked and shared, because performance you do not measure does not improve.
